Welcome to Geometry-2004
Dear Geometers
I hope you are having a great summer and are resting up for the geometric challenges of the fall. We will be using the same text as last year so if you have an older sibling or friend who took the course in the past three years, see if you can get an extra copy to ease up on the book load going to and from home.
Blackboard will contain the syllabus, assignment guide, links to related topics, daily notes, and reviews for tests and exams. Since the web notes are basic, I suggest using the notes on the website to make sure you didn't miss a major topic in a moment of inattention.
The software that is being used is called the Geometers' Sketchpad Version 4. The first few weeks of school we will be learning how to use the program and you will need your computers frequently.
I look forward to seeing you in class on Thursday the 26th.
