The Gourmet/ Health Club's main function is to teach students about the culinary arts.  Activities involve cooking, community service projects and a yearly field trip to a Culinary Art Institute for dinner and a demonstration. The club meets approximately twice a month.

Last years activities included a field trip to Johnson and Wales Culinary School where we were taught to cook an elaborate Thanksgiving Meal.    We also had Lucila Jimenez of Sweet Art by Lucila  as a guest and she taught us the art of cake decorating.

Pasta, Salads, Cookie Contest, Pie Eating Contest, Caramel Apples, Breakfast before School,  Fondue, Gingerbread houses for Florence Fuller day care center, two parties with the after school day care program at P.C.(ice cream sundae and an Easter party), Easter baskets for the Autistic children,  dips and chips, and smoothies are just some of the past years activities.  Visit our booth at the Club fair or drop by a meeting to join us for fun and food.
