Delegates are to bring in their textbooks and laptops to class.  A short video will be shown to illustrate the historical era in which this Model League of Nations will operate.  Delegates will choose which country they want to represent.  They will then research information on their country, as well as the other countries for the simulation.  Delegates must also establish criteria for which they will argue their position, and establish a hierarchy of their country’s needs according to the issues presented.  All delegates will research and collect information for the purpose of writing a position paper.  This paper will consist of a complete paragraph on each of the issues presented for consideration by the League, and will represent the delegate’s best interpretation of the stand, which the assigned country would have taken in the same historical circumstance.

Delegates will finalize their research for their country assignments.  Delegates will discuss with each other the main issues their country must address, and finish their position papers as well as possible resolutions.
