Assignments must be folded vertically with the heading on the outside of the page and placed in the appropriate class bin. Assignments must be submitted into the appropriate class bin immediately at the start of class unless otherwise indicated. If you are directed to discuss an assignment with a partner or group you may:
1) Choose not to discuss and do it independently
2) Have a phone conference
3) Discuss the assignment with your family

Grades
Test average = 60% Quiz average = 10%
Activities (homework, lab work, class work) average = 30%
Make up (Note: due to the nature of this class it is very difficult to make up work due to class absence)
Assignments: (it’s your responsibility to check on class or homework assignments during your absence)
Check calendar and complete as much as possible on your own
Call group members and see me as soon as you return
Tests: If you are absent only on test day you must make up the test the day you return. If a student misses a single class period the day before the test on which no new information was given, the student must take the test on the scheduled test day upon his or her return.
For multiple day absences, the student has the number of days missed plus one to make up work
Make-up testing deadlines are final
