| The final masterpiece for the research project is due
February 22, 2002.
Make sure the Works Cited page includes all works used (cited) in the paper. Each entry in the Works Cited should have at least one parenthetical documentation. Include ALL work in the Duo-Tang folder: work sheets, rough draft, evaluation sheets, and any xeroxed materials. You earn points for each endeavor. (See blue card stock sheet and the LITTLE, BROWN HANDBOOK for important details). The last two weeks of class we will spend discussing SONG OF SOLOMON. The three to five paragraph typed essay is due May 3. In addition to the discussion of Morrison's novel, we will continue with poetry presentations. Pick a poem from the Di Yanni book that has NOT been discussed in class for your presentation. Consider speaker, situation, theme, tone, rhyme scheme, meter, imagery, and literary devices.
After the exam on Monday May 6, bring books that you have been dying to read to class. We will have reading time and discussion in Lane Hall.
